Doing Some More Tags And Awards

Hi everyone!

Hope your week is going well!

Today I’ll be doing a tags and awards post because I haven’t done one since November (heheh), and I’m seriously behind. I know that my posts have been short lately, and I apologise for that, but, um, you’re going to wish I took back my apology by the end of this super long post.

Without further ado, here are the awards and tags!

The Outstanding Blogger Award!

I was nominated for this by Rayna @Ray is writing! Thanks so much! Please go check out her blog if you haven’t!

  • Link the original creator’s blog (Colton Beckwith)
  • Answer the provided questions.
  • Create 7 unique questions
  • Nominate 10 other bloggers

  1. Out of 10, how would you rate your art? (I ask this to all my friends)
Oh, this is super easy. Probably a four. Art is not my forte, but I’m working on it.
  2. What’s your best skill? Apart from writing, I mean, if that’s what you were going to say.
Whaaa…???? How did you know? Um, then I guess reading… If that counts…
  3. If you had to choose between your favorite book not existing and your favorite movie not existing, which would you choose?
Oh my gosh, this is too hard! My favourite movie’s The Greatest Showman, but my favourite books are Keeper Of The Lost Cities. Ahhhh! I can’t do this!
  4. What post of yours is your favorite?
Hmmm tough one. I like pretty much every post I write! I really enjoyed writing the two posts on my family’s travels so far!
  5. Are you an introvert, extrovert, or ambivert?
Pretty sure I’m an ambivert! I love meeting new people, but alone time is also important to me.
  6. What’s your favorite song?
Why do these questions have to be so hard!? At the moment, I’m listening to a lot of Jason Derulo… but it’ll probably change next week.
  7. And lastly, how many pages long do you like your books to be?
Pretty long. I like getting into a story, and not having it end super quickly. I think the longest book I read was Eragon, or something in that series.

The first ten people to like this post!!

I was nominated for the Liebster Award by Anushka @Anushka Stories! Thanks so much! Go give her blog a follow!

  1. Thank the blogger who nominated you
  2. Answers the 11 questions the blogger asked you
  3. Nominate 11 bloggers
  4. Ask your nominees 11 questions
  5. Notify your 11 nominees

1.Which super hero do you like the most?

I don’t really watch/read stuff with super heroes, so, um, I don’t really know

2.If you had a time machine, will you like to go in the future or in the past and why?

I would probably go to the past because it’d be interesting to see what life was like before modern stuff like cars, factories, basically anything that causes pollution.

 3. What is your biggest dream or goal?

Uh, wow, this is tough. I have a lot of goals. Right now, though, the goal I’m most working on is getting my splits!

4.Which is your favourite book and why do you like it?

Keeper Of The Lost Cities. Why? Because it’s awesome!

5.Why do you love doing blogging?

Oh, there are so many reasons! Mostly because I love writing, and because everybody in the blogosphere is really friendly and nice!

6.What was/is the best thing of being a kid?

Not having a lot of responsibilities. As I’m getting older (psh, I’m still only twelve) I’m realising that adults have a lot of responsibilities, and kids don’t have as many (well, I have a few).

7. If you were an inventor, tell one thing you would like to create.

I am an inventor! I create books!

 8. Who is your idol and why?

I don’t really have an idol. I just want to be me (but the best me possible).

9. If you had an opportunity to meet a big actor/actress , who would it be?

Probably Emma Watson, because she played Hermione.

10. If you were a billionaire what would you buy first?

All the books in the world! Except for the boring ones.

11.If COVID-19 never existed how do you think  life would have gone?

Well, I might be in a different country, I would have gotten out a lot more last year, and I might not have started school! So, kinda different.

I nominate you if you can find (at least) one good thing about 2020!

I’ve been tagged by Krisha @Krisha’s Twilight for the Never Have I Ever Book Tag!! Go check out her blog if you haven’t already!

The Rules:

  • Link back to original creator: Madame Writer.
  • Link back to the person who tagged you or the blog where you first saw this tag.
  • Answer all prompts.
  • Add one more prompt of your own.
  • Tag at least 5 people.
  • Don’t lie.
  • Have fun!

The questions:

  1. Never Have I Ever read a later book in a series before reading the first book

Yes, I have! It was Warriors! I bought the first one in The Power Of Three without reading the previous books.

2. Never Have I Ever burned a book

People still do that?! NO. N. E. V. E. R. Ever would I burn a book, even one that I don’t like.

3. Never Have I Ever read a book I knew I would hate

Just a quick question. Why would I read it if I knew I would hate it?

4. Never Have I Ever wrote a fanfiction about my favorite books

Surprisingly, no, I have not. I’ve written stories about personal experiences, but never from someone else’s book. I feel like I just don’t know the characters well enough.

5. Never Have I Ever loved a book when I was young and hated it when I got older

I wouldn’t say hate, but I loved the Rainbow Magic series when I was 7, and refused to read anything else. Looking back, like, every single one of those books was exactly the same!! I don’t know how I didn’t get bored.

6. Never Have I Ever dressed up as one of my favorite literary characters

No, I don’t think so.

7. Never Have I Ever hated a book by an author I love

I honestly can’t remember…

8. Never Have I Ever gone into a bookstore to buy one book and come out with many more

I don’t usually buy books from a store; I get them from my library, so, no, I haven’t.

9. Never Have I Ever read the end of a book before reading the beginning

And wreck the whole book?! No, never!

10. Never Have I Ever read a book without the dust cover

Hehe, they just get SO annoying!

11. Never Have I Ever skim read nearly half a book

If it’s boring, then probably, yes.

12. Never Have I Ever spoiled a book for someone

When my dad used to read to my sister and I he would read really slowly, so sometimes – when he wasn’t looking – I would read ahead a chapter and then spoil it for them.

13. Never Have I Ever seen the movie before reading the book

Just once, I believe. It was The Golden Compass. But when I watched the movie, I didn’t know there was a book.

14. Never Have I Ever lost a book

Probably. I can’t remember.

I nominate you if your name starts with one of the letters between and including A to Z.

That’s all for today’s super long post, but I hope you enjoyed!

Comment down below if you’re doing one of the tags/awards!! Your questions are the same ones I answered!

Thanks for reading, and I can’t wait to see you on Tuesday!

Okay, next I am going to do The Ultimate Disney Tag! I didn’t really get nominated for this, but Maggie left an open invitation to do it, so I was like, why not? And I really love Disney, so…

The Ultimate Disney Tag

The Rules

  1. Mention whose blog you found out about this tag through & share their link!
  2. Include the rules and badge in your post
  3. Answer all 50 questions
  4. Tag the post under “theultimatedisneytag” in the Reader
  5. Leave an open invitation for all Disney lovers to participate!

The Questions

  1. What is the first Disney movie you remember watching?

I think Tangled. I remember my mom and I went to the theatre when I was probably 4 or 5. I was really excited because it was just me and my mom, and my sister wasn’t coming. 😂

2. Three characters you relate the most to?

Judy Hops, Vanellope, Anna.

3. If you could trade places with one character for a day, who would you choose and what would you do?

Well, being Elsa would be really cool, because then I could shoot ice out of my hands. So I’d probably spend the whole day building ice fortresses and snowmen.

4. Which princess do you relate the most to?

Hmmm… Maybe Anna. I mean, I’m always up for adventure!

5. Are you jealous of any characters’ fashion sense/wardrobe?

Well, not jealous exactly, but I always wondered why Elsa’s dresses always look like they are part of her? Maybe cause she made them? In any case they are really pretty.

6. Which song/s get stuck in your head the most often?

Oh, this is hard! All of them! But probably the ones from Frozen and Frozen II.

7. If you could change one thing about any Disney movie, what would you change and why?

I don’t know about this… But maybe take out the weird Kristoff scene in Frozen II when he starts singing that song that sounded like it was from the ’80s.

8. Which sidekick would you love to have?

Olaf. He’s always there to lighten the mood.

9. If you could spend the day with three characters, who would you choose and what would the four of you do together?

Belle, Rapunzal, and Anna. We would probably go sit under a tree in a forest and talk about… I don’t know… books?

10. Is there a crossover relationship you think would totally work? (For example, Tiana and Prince Charming)

Nope. But I’ve never really thought about it 🤔

11. Are there any minor characters you think should have been included more in their movies’ plots? If so, which ones?

Abu the monkey from Aladdin.

12. Which movie has your favorite animation?

They have different animations? 🤣

13. If you could request to have a sequel made for any one movie, what sequel would it be and what would you love to see happen in it?

Well, I love Aladdin, so probably this movie. But I don’t know what would happen…

14. Are there any movies you think shouldn’t have had a sequel? Why or why not?

Frozen II was a bit of a disapointment. The whole storyline was just kind of confusing.

15. Do you use any Disney quotes in your everyday life? If so, what are they?

I probably use them so often I have forgotten they are Disney!

16. Have you noticed any plot holes or funny errors in any movie?

Um, no, I haven’t.

17. Which quote/s inspire you the most?

If you can dream it, you can do it.

18. Who were your favorite characters as a kid?

Well, you might not be able to tell from this post, but practically the only movie I watched for 3 or 4 years was Frozen. So, I loved Elsa. Once, I even tried to convince my sister I had magical ice powers!

19. Who are your favorite characters now?

I love Belle and Jasmine.

20. What’s the last movie you watched?

I think Frozen II.

Um… Pretty sure I’ve watched almost all of them, so…

22. Which character would you go to for advice?

That baboon from The Lion King!

23. Were there any movies that scared you growing up? Are you okay with watching them now?

When I first watched Big Hero 6, I was so scared of Robert Callaghan, because, uh, his mask really freaked me out. Pretty sure if I watched it again now, I’d be fine.

24. What’s your favorite Disney short?

Never seen one.

25. Which movie has your favorite soundtrack?

26. Who is your favorite classic character? (i.e. Mickey, Goofy, Donald, etc.)

Huh. Well, I mean, uh… I honestly have no idea! 😂

Arendelle seems pretty cool.

28. Do you prefer watching live action or animated?

Live action.

29. What are your top three most-watched movies?

Would it be weird to say that I don’t really watch movies over and over again? The only exception would be Frozen when I was 6.

30. Which scene made you the saddest?

The first one that I think of is when Simba’s dad fell off the cliff, and then Simba was convinced it was his fault.

31. Which scene was the most heartwarming?

“Some people are worth melting for.” That’s so sweet!

32. Which scene completely shocked you?

Hmmm… I honestly don’t know! I’m usually pretty good at guessing plots.

33. What are your favorite best friend relationships?

Well, if sisters can be considered best friends, I think Anna and Elsa.

34. Which couple is your favorite?

Anna and Kristoff? I don’t know!

35. Movie with the happiest ending?

It’s Disney! They’re all happy endings!

36. Movie with the saddest ending?

Dito what I said up there.

37. Is there a type of food/treat a character eats/bakes that you’d love to try?

Well, um, it actually just occurred to me that you hardly ever see Disney characters eating!

38. Have you been to any of the Disney parks?

39. What are your favorite Disney Channel shows/movies?

It usually shocks people when I say that I’ve never seen the Disney Channel. 😅

40. If you could visit the set of any show or live action movie, which one would you want to see?

Ooooh, cool question. Probably Aladdin.

41. Which movie makes you laugh the most?

Frozen. As I said before, Olaf. Well, actually, the jams scene in Aladdin was pretty funny.

42. Was there a movie you thought you wouldn’t like, but you ended up loving it?

I generally watch movies with the expectation that I’ll love them, so no.

43. Which villains are you scared of?

I don’t think any of them!

44. Which villain/s don’t scare you?

I think all of them 🤣

45. Do you like any Disney memes? (feel free to share them!)

46. Do you/Have you had any Disney-themed clothes?

I had frozen pyjamas when I was 6.

47. Do you have any stuffed animals/toys? If so, which ones?

I don’t really have that many stuffed animals, but at one point I had a Minnie Mouse stuffie. And I had an Elsa Barbie (yep, I was SOOOOO obsessed).

48. If you could only recommend one Disney movie for others to watch, which one would you choose and why?

Aladdin. Because it’s mah favourite.

49. Which characters always make you smile?

Um, Olaf.

50. On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do you love Disney?

Well, that was fun! It took a while, but it was definitely fun (I actually wrote this post at different times because I got nominated by Claire, wrote this post, then a couple days later got nominated by Gelina, so I had to come and update it, and then the very next day I got nominated by Lizzie!😂)! Thanks again to Claire, Gelina, and Lizzie for nominating me!
