March Monthly Wrap-Up

Hey everyone! What’s up? I know that this post is a tiny bit late, but I had a couple other things I wanted to post first (like my trip to Borjomi)!

Anyways, can you believe that it’s April already? I know I said the exact same thing for March, but it’s true! 2021 has just flown by for me!

So let’s get started with the wrap-up!

So, um, I read a LOT of books in March. They pretty much make up for all the other stuff I didn’t do.

  • The Notations of Cooper Cameron

  • Click

  • From the Desk of Zoe Washington

  • Inside Out and Back Again

  • Roll with It

  • The Seventh Most Important Thing

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.
  • Neverseen

  • Before the Ever After

Rating: 4 out of 5.
  • Smile

Rating: 3 out of 5.
  • A Wish in the Dark

Rating: 3 out of 5.
  • Breakout

Rating: 3 out of 5.
  • Wolf Hollow

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.
  • Pluto

  • Shingaling

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

As you can see, I read some pretty good books. I feel like I’ve started rating books lower, but that’s easy to do when I used to rate every book I kinda liked five stars. I think five stars should be reserved for the best, four stars for really good, three for good, two for okay, and one for bad.

Read the paragraph up there by the beginning of the book list. There’s a reason I put that there. Other than blogging twice a week, my writing has been getting zero attention. Not even a page of journaling was done in March. Hopefully I’ll write more in April, though. I plan on journaling, and I also want to write a short story for an event for my school.

*looks behind* *sees that there’s nobody else in the room* Oh, um, you’re talking to me. Welllllllll, aside from art club for school, I didn’t really do any art… I have decided that, I don’t know, art just isn’t really my thing. I’d rather read. I’m still gonna go to art club, because I enjoy doing art, I just don’t seem to do it on my own. Because I could use that time more wisely and read.

I did lots at the beginning, and lots at the end of March, but not a whole lot in between. But I got some exciting news!! Yesterday (I know, I know, it’s not March, but still), I did my first standing to backbend! Yay! I stand up, then bend over backwards into bridge!! It’s super exciting for me, because I’ve been trying to do that for a long time!

  1. Get my left splits
  2. Do a handstand into bridge
  3. Write a short story
  4. Blog twice a week
  5. Write in my journal regularly

I think the hardest one of these will probably be number one, but I don’t know how long it’ll take to write that short story (or even what it’s about).

What are some of your goals for April?

Until Friday, adios!

Hi! I'm Reese! I'm 12 years old and a TOTAL bookworm (like, huge). Some of my favourite series are Harry Potter, Keeper Of The Lost Cities, and a bazillion other ones (the list is too long to write down). When I'm not reading - which isn't very often - I'm either writing, practicing my photography, or attempting to learn gymnastics by myself. Oh yeah, and I got watercolour paints a while ago, so I'm also painting! I am Canadian, but my family and I travel all around the world! I've been to 13 different countries so far!

  1. 14 books! That’s awesome. *comes to a screeching halt* Wait. Do you mean Neverseen as in the KOTLC Neverseen?!?! If so, πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ™ŒπŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸ₯³πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰

    *cough*

    Anyway.
I can’t believe how fast 2021 is going by either. Like, seriously. At this rate, it’s going to be 2023 before we know what’s happening 😭

  2. Wow! You read a lot of books in one month! Good on you! I’ve been working on a photobook about my grandparents who were pioneers; lots of black and white pics!
