Collab With Ariela!

Hey guys!

Bitmoji Image

Guess what? Ariela and I have decided to do a collab! And since we both travel a lot, we decided to do it on travel! We’ve asked each other some questions about travelling, and we’re going to answer them!

Ariela’s questions are in bold, and my answers are normal.

So here we go!

What is your favourite thing to keep you busyย when you are travelling?ย

Usually I read, write, or listen to music. I sometimes watch movies, but I actually prefer reading!

What is the most fun thing youโ€™ve ever done while on a trip?ย

Oof. Uh, this is tough. Well, going back to the more recent past, for my sister’s birthday (in September) we went to an outdoor adventure park, which was super fun! We went ziplining and went on lots of different obstacle courses!

What are the top three of your favourite places youโ€™ve ever been to?ย

Well, I don’t usually pick favourites, but I do love Canada (I’m a bit biased, though XD), Colombia and Mexico! To see a bigger – and more outdated – list, you can check out this post I made on them!

Do you travel as often as you would like to, orย would you like to travel more often?ย

Tricky question. Sometimes I want to travel a lot, but then I just want to stay in one place for a longer time, and actually get to know the people and the culture a bit more.

Only hate the road when you’re missing home

Haha, this is a song lyric!

When did you take your very first trip outย of the country?ย

When I was five, I went on my very first airplane, but that was to another city in Canada, so it doesn’t count. The first time I went out of Canada was when my family went on a four-month trip (in a travel-trailor) in the U.S. and north-western parts of Canada.

Do you ever learn anything from the countries you visit?

Oh yes! Loads! Learning through travel is my primary source of learning social studies, so of course I learn lots! When I was in Mexico and Colombia, I learned SOO much Spanish just by playing with the neighbourhood kids! In Greece there were lots of ancient things with little plaques saying why they were built and what they were used for everywhere, so I learned from them! And I’ve learned lots of other things too!

Those were great questions, Ariela! I enjoyed answering them!

Also, don’t forget to check out the other part of this collab, on Ariela’s blog, where I’ve asked her some questions, and she has answered them!

Do you enjoy travelling? What’s the coolest place you’ve ever been to? Should I do a post on what I do for school?

Hi! I'm Reese! I'm 13 years old and a TOTAL bookworm (like, huge). Some of my favourite series are Harry Potter, Keeper Of The Lost Cities, and a bazillion other ones (the list is too long to write down). When I'm not reading - which isn't very often - I'm either writing, practicing my photography, or attempting to learn gymnastics by myself. Oh yeah, and I got watercolour paints a while ago, so I'm also painting! I am Canadian, but my family and I travel all around the world! I've been to 13 different countries so far!

  1. Good answers! I would’ve chosen some of the same things, and I think it is great that you are able to go to a ton of places. On another note, I think it would be cool if you told us what you did for school, and I also love all of your travel posts. So whatever you wish I guess.
