Memories

On whispers of yesterday

They float

Like stars in the great night

sky

As soft as a

Warm summer night’s breeze

Bringing life to today

As to not forget

Tomorrow

Passed on through

The generations

Never complete

Never unfinished

Fragments

Drift by on

The wind

Memories

Fun fact: I actually wrote this poem close to ten’o’clock at night, because I couldn’t sleep πŸ˜‚ It’s my favourite one I’ve written so far!

Also, I got some exciting news!

I tied first place with Maggie in Summer Of Stories (if you don’t know what that is and are too lazy to click on the link – don’t worry, I’m lazy too sometimes – then I’ll just tell you that it’s a writing contest that I had been working on in September)! I’m super excited!! 😁 😁

Well, that’s all for today… Oh, wait, one more thing! I moved to Sibiu, Romania, from Brasov, Romania yesterday, so I think I’ll be putting up some pics that I took on the train ride soon!

Author:

Hi! I'm Reese! I'm 13 years old and a TOTAL bookworm (like, huge). Some of my favourite series are Harry Potter, Keeper Of The Lost Cities, and a bazillion other ones (the list is too long to write down). When I'm not reading - which isn't very often - I'm either writing, practicing my photography, or attempting to learn gymnastics by myself. Oh yeah, and I got watercolour paints a while ago, so I'm also painting! I am Canadian, but my family and I travel all around the world! I've been to 13 different countries so far!
